Tigh na Dalach is a charming end terrace fisherman's cottage in the picturesque village of Plockton, Lochalsh. It is located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes walk from the restaurants, hotels, shops and harbour. The front of the cottage overlooks Loch Carron and Plockton Crags.
The front door leads into the light and bright yet cosy lounge. There is a wood burning stove to curl up in front of, TV with DVD player and Wi-Fi. The snug leads off from the lounge and has a sofa, writing desk and a selection of books and games.
The kitchen / dining room is the heart of the home with a farmhouse style dining table and 8 chairs. There is an electric oven and hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor with a W.C., bath with hand held shower and hand basin.
Upstairs there is a King bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one has views over Plockton Bay and Loch Carron. The second twin bedroom is at the rear of the property. There are bedside cabinets, chests of drawers and a wardrobe. The family bathroom has a shower, W.C. and hand basin.
To the rear of the cottage, there is a secluded garden with clothes line. To the front, there is a small lane giving access to the cottages. Please note: this lane does not have through traffic nor does it provide parking. It just for access only. On the other side of the lane are the main gardens, following the side of the loch. It is all enclosed with mature shrubs, including a couple of Plockton's famous "palm tree's", creating an inviting garden to spend lazy afternoons. There is a picnic table for leisurely meals with a view!
Although there is no designated parking space, parking is available to the rear of the property or at the village Car Park 200 yards along the sea front.

Tigh na Dalach is a lovely waterside cottage in a pretty, peaceful village. Everything is comfortable, cosy, clean and straightforward. It has the best library you could hope for on a holiday: extensive, and dedicated to all sorts of local topics natural history, geography, anthropology, history, mountaineering, fishing
It makes you want to come back and spend a month walking and reading!

We have stayed at this cottage every year for the past 6 years. The cottage is ideal for our family stay in Plockton. It is situated in a quiet street, with a garden in front, and right on the sea front with easy access to the shore. While not luxurious, it is well-equipped and surprisingly roomy, great for a family holiday.

Excellent and wellappointed property for a large group of people. We loved it and, for the third year running, had a most enjoyable time, returning home rested and refreshed. We especially appreciated the book of guest information. The refresh of the property was also most welcome.
