Tigh Anndra, Flodigarry is a traditional cottage located on the moor towards the top of the Trotternish peninsula. The cottage has stunning views over the moors and towards the Trotternish Ridge. Tigh Anndra it is ideal for those looking to enjoy the local walks including the Quiriang, Rubha Hunish headland and the Old Man of Storr, to name but a few! The Flodigarry Hotel can be found a couple of miles away with local shops in Staffin, a 10 min drive away.
Tigh Anndra has a patio at the front of the cottage with benches from which to enjoy the view! And if the weather turns for the worse, the porch offers shelter until the next break in the clouds!
The lounge / kitchen / diner is a cosy room with a log burner creating a warm atmosphere. There is a sofa to curl up on, a TV with freeview and DVD player for entertainment and a dining table and two chairs for enjoying evening meals! The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, washing machine, microwave and an undercounter fridge / freezer.
There is a double bedroom with a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage and a full length mirror. The bathroom has a shower over bath, W.C. and wash hand basin.
Located next to the main road around the Trotternish peninsula, Tigh Anndra has off road parking next to the cottage for one vehicle. Tigh Anndra is perfect for couples looking to explore the Trotternish!
There is parking to the right hand side of the cottage, the side without the gate. Please REVERSE park into this space. Please don’t park in front of the gate as it is required for croft access.

Tigh Anndra is a beautifully equipped cottage for a couple. We have been twice and just love the wilderness of the cottage, just sweeping views of the mountains. It is a special place for us, watching the swallows fly and the sheep come and go across from the moor. There is a handy bus service that can get you to Portree and Uig.
We liked the lack of wifi. It gave us time to truly disconnect.

This lovely little cottage was a fantastic place to stay for a few days. Ideally placed to explore Skye.

A very cozy cottage with fantastic views of the moor and mountains. Well furnished with stocks of coffee, tea and spices. The small road does not have much traffic. You can sit outside but beware of the midges. A highly recommended hike is to Rubha Hunish.
