The Cedar's Croft Cottage is a peaceful holiday cottage surrounded by nature and sea views. It is situated in Portnalong, just a short distance from Carbost where you'll find Talisker Distillery, The Old Inn and a grocery shop. It is around a 30 minute drive to Talisker Bay. It is also a 30 minute drive to the Fairy Pools. Glenbrittle beach is a further, 10 minutes from the Fairy Pools.
On entering the cottage there is a fully equipped kitchen with sink, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a fridge, dishwasher and washing machine and dryer. The dining area has a dining table which sits up to 4 guests.
The lounge has a log burning stove, sofa, two fireside chairs and a coffee table. There are french doors out to the decking area where there is a picnic table. Perfect to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening meal in the summer!
There are two double bedrooms. The master double room has a double bed, two lamps and a chest of drawers, there is also a wardrobe and a dressing table. The second bedroom is a double room with double bed, wardrobe, two lamps and a chest of drawers. For chilly nights, electric blankets available in each bedroom.
The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet and sink, whilst the shower room has a walk in shower, toilet and sink just along the hallway. Both showers are mains pressure, with as much hot water as needed. Central heating is provided by an oil-fired combination boiler. There is a small study area next to the master bedroom.
Outside there is a garden with summer house with two chairs, two stools and a coffee table.
There is a parking area for two cars inside the garden and please close the gates along the track and to the garden to restrict access for livestock in the surrounding fields.
