The side door leads into the utility room where you can find a sink, washing machine and tumble drier and a place to store your shoes. This leads on to the open-plan dining room and kitchen where there is a large dining table and chairs which seat six. There is also a small tv in the dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with double oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine, percolator and caffeterie. There is an Island in the kitchen which has plenty of space to cook up delicious food after a day's exploring. There is also a wine holder.

The lounge is cosy and bright with a sofa, chair and tv. There is access from the lounge through the French doors which leads out to the patio. The family bathroom has a bath, sink and WC with a large mirror. The master king is very spacious with an en-suite. It has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, small tv, tweed chairs, wardrobe and a dressing table. The en-suite consists of a shower, sink and W.C. The second double bedroom has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, small tv, wardrobe and chair. The third bedroom has a king-sized bed, bedside table and closet. There is an en-suite in this bedroom which consists of a shower, sink and W.C.

There is a large garden of wildflowers to the front of the property, with picnic table and bench. An adjacent polytunnel is filled with vegetables and herbs which guests are encouraged to use. There is a washing line located behind the cottage.

The cottage has ample parking to the side.

The cottage sits just below the Quirrang and is within walking distance to Mackenzie’s Store and fuel station. It is also very close to the village of Staffin where you will find Staffin Stores, Columba 1400, Hungry Gull restaurant and Skyelight candle shop. An Corran beach, with the famous dinosaur footprints, and Mealt Falls are only a five minute drive. The Old Man of Storr is only fifteen minutes by car away.

My family had an amazing stay at this house. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a few treats, which were a lovely surprise. Everyone loved it. The view is incredible. The location was great. Decor was beautiful and welcoming. We very much appreciated the clothes dryer and the binder with all kinds of Skye recommendations. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to everyone!

This place is the most stunning home, you can possibly book on the Isle of Skye. The house was incredible, and we loved every bit of it! The amazing bedrooms, with comfortable beds, and such a cozy and quiet atmosphere. The living room with the most stunning(!) view, overlooking Staffin Bay! We didn’t get to see any wildlife, but had great fun looking at the boats coming in for the night. The large and incredibly well equipped kitchen, which made the otherwise boring dinner- and dishwashing chores so much fun. Looking out on the cute birds coming to eat on the bird-feeder. The house truly has everything you could possibly need and want, for your stay on this amazing Isle. Games, books, binoculars, and great recommendations on what to see, do and eat nearby. Even a small vegetable garden, where we got to harvest carrots and spring onions. The place was also squeeky clean upon arrival, which was such a pleasure. And even though there is a rather “large” (in skye terms maybe) road in front of the house, you don’t see it, and barely hear it, because of the little stone fence in front of the house. It did not bother us one bit. We truly can not recommend this place enough, and we really hope to be returning for another visit some day!
