1/2 of 12 Camustianavaig is a listed 19th Century old stone cottage situated on croft land in the quiet township of Camustianavaig on the Braes peninsula on the Isle of Skye.

Just 10 minutes drive from Portree, this holiday home is close to shops and restaurants yet feels a world away!

Out side has a garden bench, perfect to take in the views.

The is an open plan living area which stretches up to the full height of the cottage.

The lounge area has a fresh new 3 seater sofa, perfect for snuggling up on. There is also two new chairs.

The TV is connected to the broadband, with apps and live TV is available. A multi fuel stove for which the owners provide an initial supply of kindling and logs. A DVD player, board games and books are also available. Wi-Fi is available in the cottage.

The modern kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine, microwave and there is a folding dining table with chairs for evening meals.

The double bedroom has kingsize bed, a large chest of drawers for storage and there is a bathroom with wash hand basin, W.C. and a bath with shower over.

There is private off road parking available next to the holiday cottage.

1/2 of 12 Camustianavaig has easy access to the bay for evening strolls and is well positioned for exploring the Isle of Skye and Raasay.

Perdu dans un hameau de quelques maisons, à 10 minutes de Portree, ce cottage présente l’avantage d’être à la fois au calme et bien situé pour visiter les différents coins de Skye. Même si je n’ai jamais réussi à allumer le feu (mais je ne suis pas doué pour ça), il est équipé de tout le confort nécessaire : petite cuisine équipée avec ustensiles de cuisine, frigo et cuisinière, salle de bain avec baignoire, un grand lit très confortable et une pièce de séjour très agréable. Les abords su cottage sont bucoliques et possibilité de garer la voiture juste à côté. Merci pour ce séjour idyllique.

Lovely relaxing holiday again, everything was as I wanted ~ a little away from Portree but not too distant so still very convenient for socialising and provisions .. already booked for new year thank you all

De woonkamer in het huisje was ruim genoeg en netjes. De bank was niet comfortabel. Er zaten stangen in en dit zat niet lekker. Helaas was het bed in de slaapkamer veels te krap en te kort. Het matras was te zacht en helemaal ingezakt. In de douche kon je niet normaal rechtop douche omdat het plafond te laag was. Het was snel vochtig in het huisje.
