Taigh Mhurdaidh is a cosy cottage located in Marishader in Culnacnoc on the Isle of Skye.

On entering Taigh Mhurdaidh there is a small hallway. On taking your right you enter the lounge area, with corner sofa, chair, coffee table, tv and electric effect log fire. This room leads into the dining area, with table and four chairs, two chairs to lounge in and kitchen area with electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink.

Please note there is NO washing machine.
There is a tumble drier available.

Going back into the hallway there is a double bedroom to the left with double bed, chair, two bedside tables, two lamps and a chest of drawers. The shower room is beside with walk in shower, toilet, sink and mirror.

Outside the garden is fenced with a lovely grassy area with bench to enjoy the stunning views on a summer evening.

Taigh Mhurdaidh is a 6 minutes drive away from Staffin where you can find a selection of cafe's, a candle shop and a grocery store.

'The Old Man Of Storr' and The Quiraing are a short drive away.

There is parking beside the cottage with space for up to one car.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two-week stay at Taigh Mhurdaidh. The cottage was well kept, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for a longer stay. I especially appreciated having both a washing machine and dryer, and the reliable Wi-Fi made it easy to stay connected and stream shows in the evenings after a day out. The location felt peaceful and relaxing, and it put me close to most of the sites and hikes I wanted to do on the Trotternish Peninsula. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the afternoons looking out over the sheep and pastureland after a morning walk. Being so near Staffin Stores was also handy whenever I needed to pick something up. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

We really enjoyed our time in Isle of Skye including our stay at Taigh Mhurdaidh. The cottage was easy to get to had great views and close to great scenic locations and hikes like the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing and others. The location was also very quiet and peaceful.
