Loch Mealt View, Ellishader by Staffin overlooks Loch Mealt by Kilt Rock on the Trotternish Peninsula. It is a cosy three bedroom cottage that is perfect for families and friends alike.
On entering there is an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. The lounge has two couches, a flat screen TV with free sat and a collection of DVDS. A coffee table with books and games and a standing lamp. The dining area has a dining table and six chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with sink, oven with four hobs and grill, four slice toaster and kettle. There is a coffee machine, fridge freezer and washing machine. There are a selection of utensils.
There is a double bedroom with built in wardrobe, two bedside tables, two lamps, a chest of drawers, mirror and a selection of books.
The twin bedroom is at the end of the house with views over Loch Mealt. There are two single beds, a bedside table, lamp, wardrobe and hairdryer.
The third bedroom is a single bedroom with chair and bedside table with lamp. The single bed can be pulled out to be a double bed. The family bathroom has a walk in shower, W.C. and wash hand basin.
Outside there is a decking area with views over Loch Mealt and the Old Man of Storr in the distance!
There is a parking area for up to two cars.
Please note: As croft land surrounds the property, Loch Mealt View is stricty no pets.

The cottage was very well equipped, lots of kitchen appliances, spices, etc, which made the stay so much more comfortable.
We had an excellent time staying here.
The location is great too, very close to Brother´s Point, the Quirang, Old Man of Storr, and Portree just half an hour away.
We also visited the Fairy Pools (an hour’s drive away), which we found a doable distance.

The view from the cottage to Loch Mealt is simply beautiful – and to sit there each morning is such a wonderful way to start your day. The sheep and the young lambs bleating and the bird song is joyous. The walk from the cottage down to Loch Mealt is super and walk a little further and you easily reach Kilt Rock. But to travel further best to have a car – its actually easy to access by car. The cottage is very comfortable, bright, spacious and well appointed.
Its the second time Ive stayed in Loch Mealt View – so think that says a lot. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Our stay was very comfortable and so nice. The cottage was tidy when we arrived and it has everything we need.
You’re practically alone here and can simply relax. A short walk takes you to Loch Mealt, which you can always see from the cottage. Truly beautiful.
