The Chalet at Craigellachie is in Ratagan in Lochalsh just set back from the waters of Loch Duich. A peaceful location, just five minutes drive from the main road, yet feels a million miles away. There are plenty of walks in the area with one leading to Dun Grugaig, a broch with stunning views of Eilean Donan Castle. A short drive takes you over the Mam Ratagan Pass with amazing views of the Five Sisters of Kintail, to the village Glenelg where there is a local hotel with restaurant, shop, cafe and ferry to Kylerhea on Skye.

The Chalet is set within mature gardens, shared with another property. Entering through the front porch, there is a dining table and chairs enjoying the views of the garden. Tucked around the corner is a utility area with fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The lounge / kitchen area is compact but very well equipped. In the kitchen, there is a two ring hob, oven, kettle and toaster. And the breakfast bar provides a great spot for a quick snack. The lounge has a two seater sofa and an armchair, TV with Sky TV, and a selection of books and games. Patio doors lead out onto the decking area which is to the rear of the cottage. Not overlooked, it has a seating area and is perfect for sunny days!

The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room with W.C., wash hand basin and walk in shower. There is a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and two bedside tables.

The second double bedroom leads off from the front porch and also has an ensuite shower room with W.C., wash hand basin and walk in shower. There are two bedside tables, chair and wall mounted TV. This room is locked and out of use if the lower rental rate for two people is used.

Suitable for those on business stays as well as those looking for a break away from it all!

Please note: There are two rental rates for this property. The low occupancy rate will show when you book for two people and guests will have access to all of the cottage except the second bedroom. If you require both bedrooms, you need to enter 3 or 4 people when booking and the whole property will be available. There is a 2 weeks minimum stay and the garden is shared with a property that has a very friendly dog.
