Tulm Bay

Tulm Bay Sits right in front of Duntulm Castle, Tulm bay is a cosy cottage with surrounding landscape of cliffs, shoreline and the outer isle's ahead. From Tulm Bay it is a very short walk to Duntulm Castle and the shoreline further down the road. It also is home to a family of sheep in the field in front of the cottage.

Tulm Bay's lounge is spacious with a large window to take in the sea views. There is a sofa in the lounge with pouffe and two armchairs. There is also a basket chair and a set of nesting tables. There is a flat screen TV with sky box and DVD player. The door from the lounge leads on to the kitchen where there is a dining table and four chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer. There is plenty of worktop to prepare your meals.

From the kitchen you enter the utility room with washing machine and boiler. On going to the right down the hallway you will find the family bathroom with bath, toilet and sink.

The master bedroom is a double with two bedside tables, two lamps and a chest of drawers. There is an en suite in this room with toilet, sink and walk in shower. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, a bedside cabinet and lamp. There is a wardrobe in this room and a mirror. The third bedroom is a single room with single bed, bedside table, lamp, and wardrobe. There is a cot and high chair available at the property.

Outside there is a large garden area from which to enjoy the beautiful views. There is parking for up two cars is available on the drive way. The gate must be kept closed at all times as there is livestock in the area.

Strictly no pets as this is a working croft and the owner has sheep in the fields surrounding the cottage.

Tulm Bay situated close by some beautiful areas for walks - The Quiraing, Rubha Hunish, Fairy Glen and the Old Man of Storr. Also nearby you can find the Skye Museum of the Islands Life, where you can see traditional thatched cottages. And, Kilmuir Cemetery where you will find the grave of Flora MacDonald, the famous heroine of the Highlands.

Tulm Bay is about 15 miles from Uig situated on the Troternish peninsula. Great base if you want to visit pottery, the brewery in Uig, the Galley seafood restaurant. The closest fuel station from Tulm Bay also is in Uig. The dinosaur footprints can be found on An Corran beach in Staffin which is about 15min drive from the property, also in Duntulm Score bay and can be seen when tide is out within walking distance of the house.
