Staffin, North East Skye
The side door leads into the utility room where you can find a sink, washing machine and tumble drier and a place to store your shoes. This leads on to the open-plan dining room and kitchen where there is a large dining table and chairs which seat six. There is also a small tv in the dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with double oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine. There is an Island in the kitchen which has plenty of space to cook up delicious food after a day's exploring. There is also a wine holder.
The lounge is cozy and bright with a sofa, chair and tv. There is access from the lounge through the French doors which leads out to the patio. The family bathroom has a bath, sink and WC with a large mirror. The master king is very spacious with an ensuite. It has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, small tv, tweed chairs, wardrobe and a dressing table. The ensuite consists of a shower, sink and W.C. The second double bedroom has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, small tv, wardrobe and chair. The third bedroom has a king-sized bed, bedside table and closet. There is an ensuite in this bedroom which consists of a shower, sink and W.C.
There is a large garden of wildflowers to the front of the property, with picnic table and bench. An adjacent polytunnel is filled with vegetables and herbs which guests are encouraged to use. There is a washing line located behind the cottage.
The cottage has ample parking to the side.
The cottage sits just below the Quirrang and is within walking distance to Mackenzie’s Store and fuel station. It is also very close to the village of Staffin where you will find Staffin Stores, Columba 1400, Hungry Gull restaurant and Skyelight candle shop. An Corran beach, with the famous dinosaur footprints, and Mealt Falls are only a five minute drive. The Old Man of Storr is only fifteen minutes by car away.
