There are ample walks to be enjoyed from the front door including the old marble railway line and the path that takes you to the clearance villages of Boreraig and Suisnish.
The town of Broadford is a 10 min drive away and you will find most amenities there. In the other direction is Elgol where you can take boat trips to Loch Coruisk and soak up even more atmospheric views!
Strath Glebe is entered through the porch where you can leave jackets and shoes behind. The hallway leads into the spacious lounge with offers fine views of the sourrounding landscape. The log burner creates a warming atmosphere on even the coldest days! There is a large TV with FreeSat and a DVD player, several leather sofas to seat everyone and a large selection of DVD's, CD's, games and books. WiFi is available throughout the property.
The open kitchen diner has french doors leading onto the patio, perfect for enjoying sunny evenings! There are two large dining tables with 14 dining chairs, giving ample space for family meals! In the kitchen area there is a range cooker with a 5 ring gas hob and electric ovens, a double Belfast sink, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. In the utility room there are two freezers and a second fridge. There is a cafetiere for morning coffee's!
The family bedroom is on the ground floor. It has a king size bed with stunning views of the mountains. It opens into a second area where there is a set of bunk beds, dressing table and an ensuite shower room.
Upstairs there are a further three bedrooms. There is a second king size double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with ample storage and lovely mountain views at the front of the house. The second twin bedroom is at the rear of the property and has views over the hills and croft land. The family bathroom has a stand alone roll top bath, walk in shower, W.C. and wash hand basin.
Strath Glebe is surrounded by a large garden and then by croft land. At the rear of the house, there is a patio area with two picnic tables for people to enjoy the fresh air!
Private parking is available for up to three vehicles at the side of the house.
Low Occupancy Rates: There are special rates available if you book Strath Glebe for either 4 or 6 people this autumn and spring. Depending on the requirements of your group, you can decide which option is best for you.
For up to 4 people: Guests will have access to the whole of the ground floor including lounge, large kitchen / dining room, utility room, shower and toilet, and the family bedroom with double bed and bunk beds and a shower ensuite. The other bedrooms and the family bathroom upstairs will be unavailable.
For up to 6 people: Guests will have access to the ground floor living accommodation including a downstairs shower and toilet, and the three bedrooms upstairs and the family bathroom. The family bedroom downstairs will be unavailable.
For up to10 people: the cost will be at full price and guests will have access to the full house.
