Situated on the Trotternish Peninsula on the edge of the hamlet of Borneskitaig and less than 10 miles from the famous Quiraing, Bonn Na Cnoc has views straight across The Minch to the Western Isles.We are only 6 miles from Uig where you will find a local shop, restaurant, post office and the port for the ferry to the Western Isles. Portree, the island's capital is a 30 minute drive away and has all the amenities and facilities you would expect of a small, busy town.
Bonn Na Cnoc has been thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. The living area is fully furnished with leisure in mind. The flat screen TV is SMART. There is a music centre with a plentiful supply of CDs and there is an eclectic selection of books and games should you choose to while away time indoors. There is a small selection of guides and maps.
If the weather permits, there is access through patio doors from the living area to the raised decking. Either from the decking or from the living area you can enjoy the view towards the Western Isles of Harris and Lewis and enjoy the magnificent sunsets.
Hi-speed wireless internet access and the use of a telephone are included.
A multi-fuel burner has a free supply of wood or, if you fancy the feel and smell of the Hebrides, you could buy some peat from the store in Uig.
A fully fitted kitchen means that you can practice your culinary expertise, just like you would at home. Or just "ding" the ready meal in the microwave.
There is a washer/dryer machine, a dishwasher, two huge fridge drawers and a freezer.
There is a lovely wooden wine rack for you to stock up and, if you don't finish your stock and are determined to leave some behind - we'll understand!!
There are two generously-sized bedrooms. The master, double bedroom is en-suite with shower cabinet. The other bedroom is twin-bedded - or could be made into a double at your request. There is a family bathroom with shower cabinet.
Please note: the second bedroom will be assumed to be a twin room unless specifically requested to be made as a double.
