Eynort, Central Skye
The entrance opens into a hallway with a fully equipped kitchen off to the right. The kitchen has a double oven with electric hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave along with a dining table seating up to four guests. The lounge provides a comfortable sofa and two armchairs so that everyone can relax around the wood burning stove after their adventures in the hills. There is a TV with Freesat, DVD, selection of books and a wooden chess set for entertainment should guests tire of the view across the Loch. The bright and airy shower room is located at the end of the hallway and provides a large shower cubicle, w.c., wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Leading on from the lounge are the double and twin bedrooms, both enjoying stunning views across Loch Eynort. The master bedroom offers a Kingsize bed, attractive furnishings and a wooden love seat under the window - a great place to enjoy the scenery from or relax with a book! The rear hallway has a stable door that opens out onto the front garden for a gentle stroll.
After a day spent exploring the hills and forest or enjoying nearby Glenbrittle Beach, mountain bikes can be safely stored away in the byre. The garden has a stream running along its edge and is fully enclosed with a bench seat providing the perfect spot to sit, admire the surrounding views and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is off road parking for two vehicles to the side of Shepherd's Cottage.
Shepherd's Cottage and its gardens are located within working croft land (which means passing a rather large bull when driving up to the property!) - the owner therefore asks that all gates are left as they are found.
At the moment, Shepherd's Cottage is accepting mainly 6 night stays from Saturdays. However if you would like an extended stay of 13 nights, please get in touch directly.
