Tarradale Cottage (Sleeps 2 - 8)

Tarradale Cottage, Portree is a spacious three bedroom (four beds) holiday home with additional annex just a five minute walk from the town centre and has a prime waterfront location. The garden leads to the shore and offers fantastic 180 degree views of Loch Portree, the Cuillins, Ben Tianavaig and Portree town centre. There is a decking area with garden furniture, perfect for enjoying the views and relaxing.

In the winter months Tarradale Cottage can sleep 2 - 8 people with low occupancy discounts available for using one or two bedrooms only, see below for further details.

Tarradale Cottage is entered through a spacious hallway with coat hooks and shoe racks. Leading off from the hall is the W.C. and wash hand basin.

The lounge is light and airy with a bay window to enjoy the superb views. There is an electric fire which creates a warm ambience and a smart TV, perfect for evenings in. WiFi is available throughout the property.

The kitchen / dining room is fully equipped. It includes an electric fire, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, cafetiere, filter coffee machine and a Tassimo coffee machine. The dining table seats eight people very comfortably. Ideal for family gatherings.

The master bedroom has a super king size bed, a smart TV, seating area in the bay window from which to enjoy the views and an ensuite with shower, W.C. and wash hand basin.

Upstairs there is a shower ensuite twin bedroom with two longer length single beds and a shower ensuite bedroom with king size bed, both of which have smart TV's and superb views looking over the bay. The bedrooms also have ample storage and a seating area.

To the rear of the main house there is the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Annex can be rented out in addition to the main building. Whilst the main building can sleep couples, families and friends with a maximum of 6 people in the party. The Annex offers an additional bedroom for a further two guests so the whole property can sleep up to 8 people if required.

The Annex is situated behind the main house and so has no sea views. It has a king size bed, a seating area, smart TV and a shower ensuite. There is a fee of £300 per week / stay to rent the Annex in addition to the main house and this can be added during the booking process.

Please note the Annex is only rented with the main house so no other guests will use it if it is not required by your party.

There is ample parking for several vehicles next to the cottage and there is an electric car charging port use of which can be added to your booking (£35 per stay).

During the low season (November until mid December and January to February), there are special rates for couples and smaller groups looking to stay at Tarradale cottage.

The two person rate gives access to the whole of the lower floor of the main house ONLY. This includes the master ensuite bedroom with super king size bed, ground floor bathroom, lounge, kitchen / dining room, all of which have fantastic views over Loch Portree. Access to the utility room is also included. Please note there can be a maximum of 2 people staying at the property using one bedroom at this rate.

The four person rate gives access to the whole of the lower floor of the main house ONLY plus the Annex. This includes the master ensuite bedroom with super king size bed, ground floor bathroom, lounge, kitchen / dining room and the Annex with king size bed, sitting area and ensuite shower room. Please note there can only be a maximum of 4 people staying at the property using two bedrooms at this rate.

The six person rate gives access to the whole of the main house ONLY. This includes the master ensuite bedroom with super king size bed, ground floor bathroom, lounge, kitchen / dining room, the double ensuite bedroom upstairs and the twin ensuite bedroom upstairs. Please note there can only be a maximum of 6 people staying at the property using three bedrooms at this rate.

The eight person rate gives access to the whole of the main house and the Annex. This includes the master ensuite bedroom with super king size bed, ground floor bathroom, lounge, kitchen / dining room, the double ensuite bedroom upstairs and the twin ensuite bedroom upstairs plus the Annex with a further double ensuite bedroom. Please note there can only be a maximum of 8 people staying at the property using all four bedrooms at this rate.
