The Seamstress' Cottage

The Seamstress' Cottage in Lower Breakish is a small traditional cottage built around 1880 of stone and was originally owned by the Seamstress in Lower Breakish.

Lower Breakish is about 3 miles from Broadford which has good local shops and restaurants to cater for visitor's needs.

The cottage is surrounded by a secluded mature garden from which there are superb views across the Ob towards Scalpay, the Crowlin Islands and Applecross on the mainland in one direction and towards Broadford, the Red Cuillins and Pabay in the other direction.

You enter the cottage through the bright porch which has a small table and chairs to savour the lovely views whilst enjoying a morning coffee.

The lounge is the heart of the cottage and has comfy modern seating for four people, LCD TV with Freesat, DVD player, CD player, radio and WiFi. There is also an open fire for cosy evenings.

The kitchen / dining room has a fridge with freezer box, washing machine, new infra-red cooker and microwave. The dining table is by the window and seats up to four people.

Upstairs there is a very light modern bathroom with an electric shower over bath, wash hand basin and W.C. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with storage in chests of drawers and hanging space in each room.

Outside there is private parking for two vehicles. In the garden there is a picnic table to enjoy eating outdoors and a gate which leads you onto the shore below.
