10 Torrin is a traditional croft house built out of local stone in 1823. There is a small garden around the holiday cottage which makes a lovely picnic area with views to the Red Cuillins.
Inside the main holiday home, the ground floor is open plan. There is a spacious dining area with an extendable table which seats 4-6 people. The kitchen has an electric cooker, washing machine, microwave and a fridge/freezer.
The comfy sitting room has two settees (one of which is also a comfortable sofa bed). To use the sofa bed, there is an additional fee which can be added at the time of booking your holiday home.
A TV, DVD and video player are also available. There is an open fireplace which you are welcome to use. Please bring firewood and kindling with you.
On the upper floor there is a spacious shower room and two bedrooms; one double and one twin room. There is also a cot and high chair available on request.
Please be aware that mobile signal in the area is poor and so a payphone has been installed in the house and Wi-Fi is available.
10 Torrin makes a great base for a relaxing holiday on the Isle of Skye!

Easy to find and lovely and warm
Beds were basic but comfortable if quilts a little small. Windows at front of property seem to have dropped a little and let a draft in and you can see outside however I reported this to the company dealing with the stay along with a damp wall in the double bed room.
The views are spectacular from the house if the red cuillins. Very handy position to explore that area . We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very dissatisfied with condition and cleanliness of cottage. Would not recommend, left early. Support from island and Highland cottages very good after I raised issues with them. Owner contacted me once saying he would speak to cleaner, never heard from him again. Awaiting refund. Needs a deep clean and serious maintenance, would not recommend at all.
